You could call this kind of a WIP, except I’m not sure I’ll get any more done. BUT, do you remember how I said I wanted an AU where Moon Goddess Mercy and Fire Warrior Genji are lovers and then he’s cursed or enchanted or brainwashed and becomes her enemy but she breaks the spell somehow and he regains his memories and they reunite.
This is that! Honestly I’m too old and too busy to feel any shame anymore, you’ll have to feel it for me. I’ve loved this shit ever since I saw it in Sailor Moon when I was eleven years old.
Oh, oh, I forgot - he totally remembers partway through a battle and switches sides to protect her, but she isn’t sure it’s really her Genji again until afterwards when they’ve escaped to temporary safety and he takes his mask off. THAT’S the good stuff, man.
P.S. I didn’t forget Mercy’s forehead moon symbol, but I was gonna add it in with some sorta FX and then I got too tired. If I come back and colour this like I wanted to, I’ll add it. Also I saw several folks on tumblr draw him with flame hair and that is AWESOME and I did it too. Anyway, cheers <3
